During the discussion on sauropods posture about 100 years ago, there was also the idea of a crawling meag-lizard, with feet touching the ground above the level of the torso - obviously not working, both anatomically and ichnologically.

Zur Museumsnacht 2010 veranstaltete das Museum für Naturkunde Chemnitz viele interessante Dinge, z.B. das Präparieren von Funden aus dem Versteinerten Wald. Der dort gefundene Saurier (siehe oben) wurde vor den Augen der Besucher in einer Plastik dargestellt.
